Frequently Asked Questions, or 'Possible' frequently asked questions, or maybe more like a few explanations at this point...

Why sign up for a Membership?

#1   Your blog comments will show up.  If you are not logged into the site, any comments you add to the blog posts will not be saved on the server and therefore will not show up in the blog comments. This is to help cut down on spam. 

#2   Your Privacy.  If you choose to remain anonymous when posting blog comments and prefer not to use your social media login credentials than you can create your own user name and password, thereby protecting your privacy.

#3   Notification of future blog posts.  Having a membership means you will be notified (via email) about future blog posts.  If you don't want to receive notifications, but would still like to post on the comments, just let me know and I'll take you off the list.

Why the Dragonfly?

In many cultures the dragonfly is associated with positive connotations such as : awakening, clarity, search for truth, self-realization, adaptation, change, resilience, renewal, hope, love and a testament to the importance of living in the moment and enjoying each day as it comes. This all resonates with me and I have been attracted to dragonflies for a number of years now. There are some European countries where the dragonfly is associated with negative connotations, but I choose not to believe in those 😉

Why Paisley (droplet like motif with curved top)?

I like the shape! It’s been around my entire life in fabric and fashion worn by royalty and rockstars, elites and hippies, cowboys and bikers. A “one shape adapts to all tastes” kind of a shape.

I see the paisley shape in many forms in nature such as leaves, flames, feathers, shape of a bird and even kernels of wheat. When the name for this website popped into my head, I happen to be laying on a bed with a paisley designed comforter and pillowcases.

Color choices.  The colors used in the dragonfly bodies and wings of my logo and elsewhere on this website are primarily those of a rainbow and of the energy centers in the human body (chakras.)  I wanted this website to be energetically invigorating. (Like I said, I've got a thing about energy! )

[Soul] When you see this in a post it means that is what I hear Soul saying to me

[Ramblings] When you see this in a post, that is my effort to just keep my pen moving during my conversations with Soul. Sometime I literally write...'I don't know what to write'.

 I communicate with Soul while writing.  Some refer to this as Automatic Writing, Psychography, Intuitive Writing or other names.  When I began in earnest my writing was hardly legible, but now I am able to control it better and read it when I'm through.
